The PKAVS Big Charity Quiz, held on Thursday 16th April at the Salutation Hotel, has raised a fantastic £622 for the local charity.
15 teams competed against each other over eight rounds to determine who would win the coveted ‘PKAVS Cup Trophy,’ and after a close call, PKAVS were delighted to announce ‘The Burning Embers’ as this year’s champions.
Claire Macdonald, Marketing and Fundraising Assistant at PKAVS commented: “We would like to say thank you to everyone who came along and supported our quiz night. A special thanks also the Salutation Hotel and also to our quizmasters Ken, Wendy and Ian Birse. A brilliant night was had by all and we are delighted by the funds raised which will help support our work in the local community.”
