Wrap up warm and head to Perth to find that perfect Christmas gift for your family and friends. This year there are a fantastic number of Christmas markets in Perth and wider Perthshire, bursting with gift ideas that will see you go straight to the top of the Festive Nice List.

Planet Happy Christmas Market

Thursday 28th November

Join a selection of local makers and creators for a Planet Happy Christmas Night Market at Little Bird Cafe in Perth.

At the Planet Happy Christmas Market you will find an array of stall holders showcases their handmade designs. Plus a handpicked range of plastic free swaps, skincare and body care gifts from Wash House Store and Neal's Yard Remedies. There will also be some gorgeous recycled/recycable eco gift wrapping paper and Christmas floral wreaths.

Beautiful crafts, jewellery, foodie gifts and more will be available to browse and buy at this unique event hosted in Perth city centre this winter. This wonderful market celebrates the talents of the Scots, with every maker an independent quality artisan from our homeland.

Inspire Dance Studio Christmas Market

Inspire Studios does exactly that - it Inspires all the youngsters who attend for dance and performance. It is a wonderful nurturing dance school that means an awful lot to an awful lot of local people! They are holding a festive fundraising event for the school that's sure to be lots of fun!

The Yard Christmas Market Place

Sunday 1st December

25 makers in The Yard's indoor Market Place, 4 hot food traders, live acoustic performances, kids Christmas wreath making workshop with Lisa’s from @Create (fee of £5 per child) plus a visit from the Christmas Fairy.

Cosy covered seating area inside with cozy blankets so you can stop a while, enjoy your food, drinks, mulled wine and the great live music.

Open 12-6, entry £2 for adults, children free, dog friendly.

The Yard Christmas Barket

Sunday 8th December

Dog Friendly Perthshire are super excited to have teamed up with The Yard to bring you a Christmas Barket, a Christmas market especially for dogs on Sunday 8th December!!!

There will be 25 stalls in the indoor Markey Place with lots of doggie products. There will also be 4 hot food trucks and live acoustic performances with a visit from Santa Paws.

Cosy covered seating area inside with cozy blankets so you can stop a while, enjoy your food, drinks, mulled wine and the great live music.

There will be live acoustic sets being played here (so the music won’t be loud for dogs) with a mixture of music to suit everyone’s taste plus some Christmas tunes!

There will also be two bars where you can get a selection of soft drinks and alcohol. Cocktails and mulled wine will be getting made especially.

This will be Perthshire’s first ever Christmas Barket.

Open from 12 noon until 6 pm. It’s £2 entry but kids and dogs go free!

This is the perfect opportunity to get lots of Christmas goodies for your fur babies.
