New to 2017’s Perth Beer Festival, Perth Comedy Night promises a night of brilliant stand-up comedy headlined by Perthshire’s own Fred MacAulay and Bruce Fummey, Joe Heenan and Jim Smith.
Perth Comedy Night, sponsored by Tan International, will get Perth Beer Festival weekend off to a great start bringing Scotland’s finest stand-up to the heart of Perth alongside a selection of beers from local brewers, Inveralmond Brewery and the Innis & Gunn range. All proceeds raised go to Perthshire Rugby. In Jim Smith’s words, “fine excuse for a post lambing /calving /sowing night oot”!
Fred MacAulay
Having sold out his Glasgow International Comedy Festival shows, Fred MacAulay joins us prior to the start of his next tour. “Fred’s brand of humour mixes cheek, sarcasm and satire and has entertained people for three decades. If you’ve seen him before, you know it’s good comedy. And for new fans, come and see the man once described as “Scotland’s rising star of comedy” and now “Legend””.
