Perth Marie Curie Fundraising Group will be hosting a film night on the 27th September, showing Jon Favreau's hilarious 'Chef' (rated 15) which stars Dustin Hoffman.
Perth Marie Curie Fundraising Group are hosting a film night on the 27th September at the recently refurbished Forty Four Bar and Late Lounge on Atholl St.  They will be screening the comedy drama "Chef" directed by Jon Favreau of "Swingers" and "Iron Man" fame and starring Dustin Hoffman.  
 
Chef Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) suddenly quits his job at a prominent Los Angeles restaurant after refusing to compromise his creative integrity for its controlling owner (Dustin Hoffman), he is left to figure out what’s next. Finding himself in Miami, he teams up with his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara), his friend (John Leguizamo) and his son to launch a food truck. Taking to the road, Chef Carl goes back to his roots to reignite his passion for the kitchen --and zest for life and love.
 
Tickets are £6 each, or 2 for £10, available on the evening or at Bar 44.  There will also be a raffle during the evening.  Marie Curie provides nursing care for people with cancer or other terminal illnesses within their own home. Every penny that the Perth fundraising group makes will stay in Perth and Kinross, helping local people.
