A relaxed and interesting evening with wine expert Nick Whyte from Liberty Wines and cheese making extraordinaires Pierre Leger and Drew Watson from Strathearn Cheese.

At the recent International Wine Challenge awards Liberty Wines swept the boards, winning Italian Specialist Merchant of the Year, Australian Specialist Merchant of the Year, On-Trade Merchant of the Year, Large Agent of the Year, Educator of the Year and overall Wine Merchant of the Year.... so they really know what they're talking about when it comes to wine! 

They will be joined by Perthshire based cheese makers, Pierre and Drew, who only started their cheese making venture in 2016 and their cheeses have already scooped Gold Awards at the World Cheese Awards and the Royal Highland Show

Head along to this fantastic foodie night at Provender Brown Deli on George street and hear the fascinating story about the highs and lows of setting up an artisan cheese business. All whilst enjoying a tutored tasting through six fabulous Southern Italian wines, each paired with a delicious tapas plate (or cichetti) from the deli!
