Crowds are expected to flock to this years Craigie Hill Music Festival which is entering its fourth year. The boutique family run festival see's fantastically talented Scottish singer/songwriter Fish, who had huge success in the 80’s with his band Marillion followed by a critically acclaimed solo career headline the festival this year.
Perth’s annual music festival has become a popular event on the calendar and advance ticket sales have hit record levels.
It’s quite a “catch” for Pauline Harrier and the Hill team, with the Scots rocker’s band only playing one UK date all year, on the back of festivals in Warsaw and Bonn.
Fish is working on his new album, out in the New Year, but the Hillfest tops his priorities this month.
The superb support cast also ensures it’s going to be a memorable event, with Perth’s very own Rude Boys back by popular demand after a storming reunion gig in 2018.
Among the other bands on an impressive bill are The New Madrids, The Carloways, The Sandemans and The Irritable Owls.
Bring your own chair and sit back, soak up the music and hopefully the sunshine at this terrific festival on Saturday 31st of August at the Craigie Hill Golf Club. Expect gin cocktails, summer sun and some fabulous local bands.
Our music expert Colin doesn't miss this fantastic festival, you can read his review of the 2017 festival here.
