Provender Brown is a well-established, independent delicatessen in the centre of Perth. They offer a wide range of speciality and delicatessen products mainly from the UK, Italy, Spain and France, including a large selection of cheeses, cured meats, wines and spirits (especially gin).
They are currently looking for people to join their small and friendly team, both permanently and up to Christmas. Experience in retail or a food environment would be ideal but is not essential. It is more important that you are passionate about food, articulate, friendly, well-presented and with a positive can-do attitude. They need all-rounders who will be happy to get stuck in and do whatever needs done, whether that be advising customers, keeping the shop well presented, making sandwiches or cleaning. The ability to communicate confidently with customers is a must.
They can accommodate either full or part-time, but full days will be required (9am – 5pm). Training will be given but an element of self-motivation to learn about the products is also needed.
Due to alcohol licensing legislation and operation of a slicing machine, candidates must be at least 18 years old.
