George Campbell and Son's

Their fishmongers work through the night and the early hours, receiving fish from boats landing at markets all over Scotland. Filleting and portioning, preparing and smoking the finest fish, landed daily. Then, in their own fleet of refrigerated vans, they deliver to hotels, restaurants and caterers throughout Scotland.

They also offer a wide range of delicatessen and frozen shellfish. The full product range is available in the retail shop within the premises at Whitefriars Street.

At George Campbell and Sons they are passionate about fish; the buyers, production team and sales team have a wealth of experience in the fish trade, which makes them ideally suited to give their customers information on seasonality and sustainability.

They also offer some amazing tasting tours where you can have a tour around the factory and have a go of de-boning the fish, try fresh oysters and see how it all works behind the scenes.  You then get to sit down with your own private chef and taste some of their equisite produce, definitely not to be missed!
