Benjamin Ellis- Perth City Scenes

Benjamin Ellis is a freelance photographer and filmmaker who lives and works in Perth.  He made his first strides into the field of photography just over four years ago and it has since become a true passion.  Ben takes great pride in the quality of the work that he produces and has worked on many professional projects.

As the art forms of film and photography are so closely aligned he is able to offer a wide range of services across filmmaking and photography to produce commercials, corporate films, plus promotional and Event photography.

Benjamin is entirely self-taught having studied at "YouTube" University and honed his craft through plenty of trial and error. The photography side of his work really took off 11 months ago when he started posting images on the social media site Instagram.  People just seemed to go mad for his posts, particularly his portraits and he has now has an online fanbase of thirty thousand followers and rising.  Click the Instagram link below to find out why.

For this week's Small City Big Personality gallery Ben has hand-picked his favourite photographs taken in Perth City Centre.  Along with his models Annie Adkins-Wilson, Lauren Whytock and Ruth Neave he has managed to capture a different side of the City while it still remains very recognisably Perth.  Perhaps as a homage to fellow filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock, he has even managed to sneak in a little cameo photograph of himself
