What are Your Memories of the City Hall?

From book sales to rock bands, coffee mornings to conferences, and even wrestling to weddings, it’s all happened at Perth City Hall. If you have ever attended an event there, Culture Perth and Kinross invite you to share your own personal recollections.

On Saturday, 1st June, Perth Museum and Art Gallery will be hosting a Perth City Hall ‘Memories Day’ and staff and volunteers would love to see your pictures, hear your stories, and explore any memorabilia that your family may have stashed away.

The stories and memories collected on the day will form part of a new digital exhibition which is being developed and which will tour venues across the region.

Staff at the City Hall Memories Day will be on hand to tell visitors all the latest news on the re-development of Perth City Hall into an exciting new cultural and heritage attraction.

When it re-opens to the public, the redeveloped City Hall will showcase the city’s important collections to tell the tale of Scotland through the prism of Perth, a hub at the centre of the nation’s history.

The transformation of City Hall will allow Culture Perth and Kinross to deliver an exciting range of innovative and creative cultural offers, develop new audiences and celebrate the region’s many and diverse communities.

Perth City Hall Memories Day is on at Perth Museum and Art Gallery, Saturday, 1st June, 11 am - 3.30 pm. Find out more in our Event Listing here >
