I'm sure we all know the tragic story of Lydia MacDonald who died earlier this year after having an Asthma Attack in her home. Her son Mason was in the apartment and the sad, sad story has struck the hearts of the people of Perth, in particular Pete Chan of China China.
Pete has been fundraising for young Mason and to date he has raised £5000! A staggering amount that everyone should be proud of.
To give the appeal a final push Pete has pulled together some amazing, local PTs to lay on Perth's Biggest Boot Camp to give the Team Appeal appeal a final push!
Pete had this to say!
"The money rasied will be split between Asthma Research UK and a trust we have set up for three year old Mason. Hopefully, with the support of everyone and their families and friends we can turnout for Team Mason on Saturday, 19th September for Perthshire's biggest ever outdoor fitness bootcamp!
The local Santander branch have generously promised to MATCH the amount we raise for Asthma Research UK so the more people we have support this event, the more monies we can raise for both very worthy causes."
The entry fee for the Bootcamp is £5. With ALL monies going to Team Mason. You can pay on the day or, preferably, purchase advance tickets from China China in Craigie. (It would be great for the Fitness Team to be aware of attending numbers.)
Now, get your trainers ready! And as Pete said, don't just read this page... Please get involved. Get LIKING, Get SHARING.
Spread the word as far and wide as possible and let's all turnout for Team Mason.
Ill leave the final word to Pete.
"How fitting, that we as a Community, from all different backgrounds, have come together for this beautiful wee boy and a charity that will save many future lives researching an illness that sadly took one of our own. We can all stand together for this cause and get fit at the same time.
We are Team Mason ❤ One Family, One Team, One Community."
