She owns the best named shop in town - Nail Diamond, sheer genius - and has transformed herself from the process-driven confines of finance assistant at Perth and Kinross Council, to glamourous nail technician at the busy and recently relocated and upgraded city centre outlet she owns with business partner, Necole.

Stacey Anderson is a Perth girl born and bred who is now raising her own family here; on days off you'll find her with her daughter at Noah’s Ark, where she likes to enjoy a proper coffee and delicious cake while Aria burns off energy! 

She owns the best named shop in town - Nail Diamond, sheer genius! At weekends you'll find her at her favourite restaurant, the Mae Ping. "Thai is my favourite kind of food and it’s so fresh and delicious there; plus they also do yummy cocktails!"

What does a typical day at work look like for you?

Each morning myself and my business partner Nicole have a 15 minute catch up meeting to go over the previous working day, and to chat about any duties that need done to keep the salon running smoothly. We'll both then do our clients for that day, and oversee everything.

Tell us the weirdest / funniest thing that has ever happened to you at work? 

I once glued my foot to the floor in work!

What signals the start of your days off?

Enjoying a bottle of wine hopefully somewhere in the sunshine helps me relax for the weekend ahead! Myself and husband Scott like to go out for meals when we can or get out with our daughter Aria and dog Alfie who is a cocker spaniel.

What might people be surprised to know about you?

I used to play the violin 🎻

I would say travelling Australia/ New Zealand but I have already done this!

What is the worst job you’ve ever had?

Can’t think of one, I have enjoyed all the jobs I've ever had.

Who or what inspires you?

Go getters inspire me, people who work hard to achieve their goals and aspirations!

Tell us about the day you’d love to live again?

The first few days of becoming a mum.

What’s the best part about your job?

Mixing with all walks of life. Every day is a day of chatting - which I love!  I'm at my proudest and happiest when all the customers and staff are happy.
