Perth Festival of Yarn 2017

Last weekend it was Perth Festival of Yarn and what an event it was! The fabulous Eva Christie organised another superb day which was a success from start to finish.

'Sew' much so that next year, Perth Festival of Yarn will become a two-day event! Over 1,000 people came along last Sunday, with 70 venders, 14 podcasters, 11 classes and 6 tutors also in attendance. It was an international affair as well, with visitors and participants from the USA, Canada, Iceland, Greece and more, as well as people from the UK and locals from Perthshire.

Next year, the event will take place on the 8th and 9th of September and Eva has already had vendors booking their places at the event and their accommodation for 2018.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information on next year's event right here on Small City.

This weekend's gallery comes courtesy of Declan Mair, Sarah Berry, Pip V and Kirsty Bisset - all of whom were in attendance and captured some of the highlights from Sunday's festival.
