Why choose Gloagburn Farm Shop for your Afternoon Tea?

When you visit you'll be getting far more than 'just' afternoon tea; you'll get to enjoy it in the countryside setting of this 4th generation working family farm, complete with highland cows on the doorstep, ducks swimming in the pond, and a beautiful farm shop filled with scrumptious food, drink & gifts to take away...

...and that's all before arriving at your seat to enjoy what's on offer from their own kitchen! As you sit down in the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere of the coffee shop, the views stretch out along the Strathearn valley towards Crieff and beyond to the beginnings of the southern highland mountain range.

Tractors, farm machinery and black labradors pass by the windows going about their daily chores and the timber beamed, low pitched roof creates an ambiance and unique feel perfectly suited to enjoying afternoon tea.

The Gloagburn Afternoon Tea contains ten elements balanced carefully between savoury and sweet (6:4), all of which are handmade by the excellent kitchen team of chefs and bakers.  Aimed at highlighting the finest produce available in Scotland and supplemented by Gloagburn's own homemade delights, they offer an experience that represents fantastic value.

Finger sandwiches filled with our their own eggs, perfectly poached salmon and smokey roast ham; savouries including Scottish vension salami and smoked salmon followed by light freshly made scones, delicate chocolate sponge and local strawberry and raspberry tartlets.

Perth roasted coffee and Scottish loose leaf tea compliment the food offering (refilled at your request) and all are served on the finest handmade, west coast, Highland Stoneware pottery. The sheep will dance around your coffee cup as you drink!

The team look forward to welcoming you to Gloagburn this summer and hope you enjoy not just the food and drink, but the natural surrounds that they are so fortunate occupy.
