ActiviTAY and Race for Life

Last weekend it was a festival of fun on the North Inch, when the ActiviTAY event and Cancer Research Race for Life took place! Kids and runners from our city flocked to the parklands to have fun and raise money for an amazing cause.

Saturday morning saw the fantastic 'Ultim8 Warrior' assault course be tackled by youngsters, who had to overcome obstacles such as hurdles, net crawls, ramps and balance beams. The kids also got the chance to try their hand at a number of sports including karate, table-tennis and rugby, while there were face-painters on-hand ready to make the little ones look great for the photographers!

On Sunday, the Cancer Research 'Race for Life' took centre stage and the stars of the show were Leva and Lily, who were there to watch a team dedicated to the brave girls complete the race. The girls were on stage to inspire Team Leva and Lily along with a fantastic turnout of other runners raise money for what is such a magnificent and important cause that is close to many hearts.

In today's gallery, we've captured just some of the pictures from last weekend in what was an amazing day for everybody involved!
