Perth Concert Hall - Horsecross Arts Ltd Perth
In 1984 Paul Simon travelled to Johannesburg and spent two weeks recording with South African musicians.
This recording session formed the basis of his most commercially successful solo album, Graceland. Featuring an eclectic mix of pop, rock, a cappella, mbaqanga and zydeco, the Grammy award-winning album has been hailed as one of the best albums of all time.
Join us to celebrate over 30 years since this ground-breaking album was released. Backed by a full live band, the show will star American musician and viral YouTuber, Josh Turner with the UK’s unique and talented South African Cultural Gospel Choir.
Classic hits include You Can Call Me Al and Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes.
