Part Time Catering Assistant

• Location: Perth Leisure Pool, Perth
• Hours: 32 hours per week
• Salary: £8.75 per hour

JOB PURPOSE:

Undertake, normally under the general direction of the Catering Supervisors, the preparation, simple cooking and the serving of food.  Set and clear away tables and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Duties
Key Tasks

• Basic hygienic preparation of food and beverages including the preparation of vegetables and snacks
• Simple cooking including reconstitution of prepared foods
• Service of meals
• General kitchen and restaurant duties including washing up, setting up and clearing away, cleaning of the kitchen and dining room surrounds, floors, walls and equipment in accordance with Health and Safety practices
• Assisting with the recording of temperature control records
• Cash handling
