An exciting opportunity has become available for a new Event Manager to join the team. This is a 45 hour contract, full-time role based in the head office in Methven, Perth, and includes regular weekend work in Edinburgh.

 Key Function:

  • Event managing and instruction on BlueSky Experiences corporate team building events across the UK.
  • Leading and managing Great Away Days leisure, stag and hen events at Hopetoun House.
  • Main point of contact for the client on the day, maintaining that support throughout the event.
  • Maintaining tidiness and cleanliness of the event venues, stores and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Great Away DaysOutdoor Leisure Customers

  • Instruct Quad Biking, Archery, Air Rifles, Highland Games, and other leisure activities for Great Away Days events.
  • Event manage the stag and hen events on Saturdays, acting as the lead instructor/event manager.
  • Maintain constant contact with freelance staff: organising kit maintenance and rotas.
  • Ensure staff/contractors are clean, tidy and wearing correct uniform, including safety equipment where required.
  • Record, maintain and complete all paperwork for events fully.
  • Ensure that our event venues are clean, tidy and well presented to our clients. Maintaining the standards set by BlueSky Experiences.

BlueSky Experiences, Corporate Clients

  • Deliver and manage the designed event to the client.
  • Maintain key contact position with the clients during the event.
  • Ensure staff/contractors are clean, tidy and wearing correct BlueSky Experiences uniform, including safety equipment where required.
  • Ensure that all staff, especially newer team members, are aware of company policies and risk assessments for the activities we run, and any amendments made to our existing risk assessments.
  • Records, maintain and complete fully, all relevant paperwork for each event delivered.
  • Ensure that our event venues are clean, tidy and well presented to our clients. Maintaining the standards set by BlueSky Experiences.
  • Undertake site visits, sometimes with the client, to ensure selected venues are suitable for the event activities chosen.

General Duties

  • Maintenance of all operational equipment.
  • Assist in the development and construction of BlueSky in a Box products.
