Calling All Foodie Show Offs!

With great / grotesque food, nonsense chat and gloriously biting voiceovers from the legend that is Dave Lamb, Come Dine With Me has now been entertaining us for well over a decade.  It has consistently punched above its weight and garnered an unexpected cult status that has seen it stand its ground among the many imitations that have appeared over the years.

 You can imagine the shrieks of delight coming from the Small City office then when we were called by their team (EEEK!!) and asked to do a shout out to the people of Perthshire.

 After a brilliant episode last year, Come Dine with Me will return to Scotland to film a combined ‘Dundee, Dunfermline and Perth’ show from the 9th to the 13th of May.  The Come Dine With Me bods are looking for men and women who fancy themselves as a bit of a cook and who would be happy to invite three strangers and a film crew into their home.

 You’ve all seen it many times so I don’t need to tell you that the week-long relationships are every bit as enthralling as the food – and that the badly cooked, never tried before disasters are just as compelling as the Hestonesque extravaganzas. And then of course, there’s the episodes like this….!  

The new episodes will be shot over five days with four individuals from all walks of life taking turns to host the perfect dinner party and at the end of the week the winning host walks away with £1,000. 

We’ve already thought of LOADS of local big personalities that we’d love to see on the show so if you’re up for a laugh with a passion for food, then apply now! The only rules are that you must be over 18 and not trained or working as a professional chef. The shoot will take place in the week beginning 9th May so you must be available during this week.
