Uisge Bar & Restaurant is a family run business in the heart of beautiful Perthshire in the village of Murthly, 10 miles north of Perth.  They use fresh, local (where possible) produce from the wealth of choice that Scotland has to offer.

Why not celebrate the festive season with them?  They are now taking bookings for the 1st to the 24th December (lunch and dinner) for their sumptuous 3 course festive menu.

To Start

Spiced parsnip and apple soup


Confit duck terrine with homemade apple and grape compote


Goats cheese and cranberry parcels with caramelised pear and micro salad (v)


Smoked salmon bruscetta with tomato salsa

Main Course

Roast turkey crown with all the festive trimmings


Pan seared salmon on chorizo crushed potatoes with wilted spinach and prawn butter sauce


Char grilled rib eye steak with sautéed potatoes, baked tomato and béarnaise sauce


Pan fried duck breast with fondant potato, confit duck spring roll and shallot jus


Mushroom and tarragon strudel with panache of winter vegetables (v)

Salted caramel profiteroles with dark chocolate sauce


Winter berry and nutmeg crème brulee with lemon shortbread


Aromatic poached pear with ginger and honey ice cream, pistachio crumb and spiced coulis
