Run Dog Run!

We were super excited to hear that our friend John Halverson is about to release his fabulous new children's book 'Run Dog Run'. John was featured as a Big Personality last year and Nicki instantly fell in love with the gorgeous story and illustrations in is first book, 'The Big Brown Lazy Dog'.  And she's not alone! #RhonaRecommends reads it to baby Freya most bedtimes; in fact, almost a year on she can actually recite it without looking!

Now for confession time! We're all huge book-fans in the Small City office and turn into starry-eyed teenagers when it comes to an author.

We first met John after reading about him on local #PerthIndie Facebook page, Fun Junction. As a wee aside, if you don’t follow this page, you really must. It is the pinnacle of proper gorgeous nonsense! Nicki thought she was popping in to do a quick interview about a new book but two hours and a gazillion questions later and he was in the Big Personality hot seat. You see, John is author,  illustrator, self-publisher and all round good guy rolled into one. 

To celebrate the launch of his new book John will be doing a signing on Saturday 12th of November in the fabulous Fun Junction Toy Shop. 'Run Dog Run' is a childrens rhyming story about a wee dog who basically runs everywhere. But he's a dog with a difference. He can fly!
