I love Perth Museum. It is one of my favourite attractions in the city. When I was little they had huge stuffed lions in the main room and I would pace round with my mum, sister and brother peering into the big glass eyes and wondering at this amazing sight.
My son and I spent many a happy day in Perth Museum; as a young single mum it ticked all my boxes. Free, educational and warm!
Today they have moved onto to sit amongst the very best that Perthshire has to offer and what you may not know is that they have a jam-packed programme of events and exhibitions throughout the year.
There's also a well-stocked museum shop that carries a range of pocket-money toys and gifts for stocking fillers.
