Perth Festival Season Opener!

The racing season kicked off in style with the Perth Festival last week - and Team Small City were there to soak up the incredible atmosphere!

There were a record number of runners over the three day meet and advance ticket sales were up a whopping 76% on previous years! This was thanks in part to the appearance of Grand National winner One For Arthur who was paraded at the Festival on the opening day.

Everyone was in great spirits throughout with 250 bottles of champagne and 550 shots of Edinburgh Gin were consumed at the One For Arthur Gin & Fizz Bar which launced on the Wednesday!

With three action-packed days of racing, coupled with a party atmosphere and incredible food and drink, it's fair to say that the Perth Festival was a huge success!

It sets us all up nicely for Ladies Day on May 18th, with a £2000 cash prize up for grabs for the best dressed lady - so make sure you are prepared girls! Celebrity stylist Gok Wan will be crowning the best dressed lady live on stage (with the help of his glamorous assistant - our very own Nicki!) and he will also be bringing his coveted Fashion Brunch Club to the racecourse for the VIP guests.

Grandstand tickets for Ladies Day are £25, with gates open at 11:30am and the first race scheduled for 2pm.

The night before ladies day, race-goers can enjoy the first evening meet of the season. The On-Course Bookmakers Evening is sure to be fine night of racing - and with entry just £5, it's the perfect way to spend your Wednesday night before the big one the following day!

Enjoy some of the highlights of the Perth Festival in this week's gallery and we look forward to seeing you at Ladies Day!
