Is there a better way to kick off the gorgeous Scottish Summer than a day out soaking up the sun on the North Inch surrounded by family and friends at the annual Perth Beer Festival?
Organised by Perthshire Rugby, the 2019 event will be the ninth Perth Beer Festival and its popularity and reputation continues to grow and grow. This year’s festival will take place on Saturday 11th May and as always you better get your tickets early as the main event in the evening has sold out every year!
Sponsored by Perth based Tan International, it has become a leading family friendly event in the heart of Scotland – with a great selection of craft ales alongside family friendly activities including climbing wall, children’s rides, rugby nippers & Perthshire 7s rugby on Perth’s North Inch.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Perth Beer Festival”, comments Allan Brown, Chief Executive of event organiser, Perthshire Rugby. Along side our brilliant line-up of craft ales, the Strathearn Craft Gin Bar is back after its hugely popular debut last year. We’ll also have live music throughout the afternoon & our family friendly activities “Along side our brilliant line-up of craft ales, the Strathearn Craft Gin Bar is back after its hugely popular debut last year. Festivities will kick off on Friday night, 10th May on the North Inch with Perthshire Rugby President’s XV taking on Army in Scotland in Perthshire’s 150th Anniversary commemorative match. The event is family friendly, the bar opens at 6pm and kick off is 7pm followed by a family ceilidh from 8.30pm. “The invitational Perthshire team will be captained by Scotland International 7s rugby ace & longstanding club player James Fleming,” says Brown. “All are welcome to come along, see James & his team in action and enjoy this historic game in our Club’s history, marking the end of our 150th season”.
Doors will open from 7pm on Saturday night in the beer festival marquee for the Big Bash Finale with great beer, gin bar, music & dancing, “Our Big Bash finale is always a terrific sell-out event and it’s sure to be a great night once again” comments Brown. Admission is on a ticket only basis. Tickets are priced at £20 each (+ booking fee) & are on sale on the Perth Beer Festival website now.
