Small City Crafts: Tic Tac Toe!
Tic tac toe, X's and O's or 3 in a row has been around for centuries and loved by children and adults alike. I think it was my first "homemade" board game and is still one of my all time favorites.
I had my friend's daughter Mia with me during the summer holidays and we kept coming up with ideas to spend the days by inventing some cool crafty things. So, when a beautiful sunny day came along and I wanted to sunbathe, but Mia wanted to play, we compromised and made this old classic in the garden!
All you need for this super fun outdoor craft is 6 small stones and either some brightly coloured paint or chalk!
Step 1: Collect your stones, then relax in the sun and paint X and O on them.
Step 2: Wait for stones to dry. once this is completed and and all the stones are dry your ready for the next step.
Step 3: Paint a giant hashtag on the ground. (Use chalk if you prefer but most childrens paint wash off very easily with a scoosh of the hose!) Once this is dry you are ready to play tic-tac-toe, enjoy!
