Ice Skating for anyone over the age of 35 will conjure up images of the end-ice at Muirton Park. Now, you can skate around on Olympic Standard Ice at Dewars Centre all the while dreaming of your spot on "Dancing On Ice".
Everyone is welcome during Dewars Centre public Skating open season.
Experienced skaters (or those that are happy to wave their arms around while attempting to balance!) will find the wide open rink a joy to whirl round. Their little penguins make learning fun and easy and for the enthusiasts among you, lessons are available from pre-school upwards. (Is there anything cuter than snow babes?)
Give it a go - I promise its the most fun you will have this summer!
Public Skating from 21st July to 3rd August 2014
Monday to Friday: 12.30pm - 4.30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 4pm
Sessions taken by qualified instructors teaching the basic skills of skating.
Book in for the block of 5 days at a cost of £32 / per person or £8 / session / person
Monday 21st to Friday 25th July 2014 from 11am - 12noon
Monday 28th July to Friday 1st Aug 2014 from 11am - 12noon
Skating sessions for 2 - 5year olds with assistance from qualified instructors
Sessions cost £3.50 for your child
Monday 21st to Friday 25th July 2014 from 11am - 12noon
Monday 28th July to Friday 1st Aug 2014 from 11am - 12noon
Skate hire available for all.
