Frames is a family run, award-winning gallery and framing business that has been based in Perth for over 35 years.
They started as a picture framers in 1979, and this is still an important part of the business, but they always had a desire to be able to exhibit Contemporary Scottish Artists work. So, in 1991 they moved to their current premises in Perth to allow the holding of larger exhibitions. In 1997 they added a large, purpose built extension to this space to be able to expand the size and range of their exhibitions.
Throughout the year they have a busy programme of exhibitions in the gallery as well as attending Art Fairs in London, Edinburgh and Bristol. This allows them to bring the wonderful Scottish Artists that they exhibit to as wide a public as possible.
Their aim is to present the work in as friendly and welcoming environment as possible where you, the visitor, can relax and enjoy everything that is on view.
Their next exhibition features the work of Philip Edwards from Scone whose amazing charcoal drawings got him into the Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in 2016.
