The Jardine Gallery

The Jardine Gallery has been trading since 2008. It is the workspace of ceramic sculptor Julian Jardine who has been creating wildlife sculptures for the last 24years. Julian works mainly on endangered species as either unique pieces or small limited editions. Julian has selected about 30 artists from all over the UK and abroad to show their work at the gallery. Many of the artists involved have won awards and commendations for their artwork in major shows like the BBC wildlife artist of the year, David Shepherd wildlife artist of the year and the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art.

The gallery sells everything from tiny bronzes and silver spiders, limited edition prints at affordable prices and original art and sculpture. There are plenty of unusual items in the gallery which have been very popular like Becka Gauld's silver wire cobwebs, Werner Muhlenberg's wax snakes realistically draped over spiky driftwood and Alison Reads quirky and comical printmaking. The gallery also has limited edition canvases by Stella Mays who is widely thought of as one of Britain's rising stars in the field of wildlife art. A variety of very realistic ceramic birds created by Karen Fawcett are suitable for either indoors or the Garden.

The gallery is a great place to stop in and see something truly original and appealing. Situated in the quiet side street of New Row, Perth it is well worth making a journey too.
