Perthshire Opera are looking for soloists and chorus members of all voice types to be involved in The Scots Opera Project's exciting and unique production of Mozart’s THE MAGIC FLUTE, uniquely translated into Scots Language by Dr Michael Dempster.

This course is perfect for those wishing to try opera for the first time, as well as those with experience. The creative team guarantee a welcoming, fun and supportive environment.

Soloist rehearsals will be held during the day, with chorus sessions taking place in the evenings and at weekends.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from professional musicians and singers about vocal and dramatic interpretation in opera and to be involved with music rehearsals, vocal technique sessions and acting and movement sessions.

Leading the course are soprano Colleen Nicoll, tenor David Douglas and musical director Andrew Johnston.

At the end of the course you’ll participate in an exciting public performance (see above) of The Magic Flute on Saturday 7th October at 7pm at Birnam Arts.
