School Contracts Driver Required
Tay Valley Cabs are looking for a Driver to join us in covering school contracts awarded by Perth and Kinross Council.
Ideally you'll already hold a Perth & Kinross Council issued Taxi / Private Hire Drivers badge – if not we're more than happy to help you through applying for one. We'll also guide you through applying for PVG Scotland Disclosure for working with children.
You must have a clean points-free driving licence and a good provable insurance / driving history with some experience of driving different vehicle types, (ie cars and minibuses / people carriers). For insurance purposes you need to be over 25 years of age with a minimum driving experience of 5 years. Knowledge of the area around Perth and upto and including Dunkeld would be an advantage.
This is by definition a term time / school day position with your hours split across mornings and afternoons (730am-915am and 3pm-5.30pm) however we may be able to offer extra work outside of the contracts If you’re willing and able!
This would be ideal for a semi-retired person or someone looking for term-time only work. Successful awarding of the vacancy will be dependent on you successfully obtaining your PKC Drivers Licence and PVG certificate.
