Culture Perth and Kinross and University Of Highland and Island’s Institute for Northern Studies present a newly discovered Pictish carving.

Mark Hall of Perth Museum & Art Gallery will introduce the audience to a newly discovered Pictish sculpture from Perth, found during construction works on the new road behind St Johnstone football stadium.

The sculpture shows an incised figure of a warrior and is the earliest Pictish carving from the immediate Perth area!

It is also a rare addition to a small number of such images and the presentation will set the find in context in terms of Pictish sculpture and the local landscape.

Tickets cost £2.
