Sing and Sign

Developed with the help of speech and language professionals and recommended by experts, Sing and Sign is Britain's longest running baby signing programme.

Babies use all kinds of signs and gestures as a natural part of learning to talk.  At Sing and Sign they teach parents/carers and their babies a range of simple signs and gestures to encourage babies to communicate before they can talk.  Baby signing with them is easy and fun as they teach using the magic ingredient......music!

Benefits include:  encouraging the development of speech, enhancing early vocabulary and understanding, reducing pre-verbal frustrations, building confidence and enriching your baby's relationships.

We have 3 age appropriate stage of class:

Sing and Sign Babes – babies 6 weeks to 7 months

Stage 1 – babies from 6-15 months

Stage 2 – babies/toddlers 14-30 months

Although there is a strong educational basis to the class, babies are not expected to sit still and concentrate!  They can crawl and toddle around, enjoy the musical and social aspects of class, exploring the props, instruments and other babies while parents/carers learn the signs.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at Oakbank Community Centre and Saturdays at Perth Leisure Pool.  A 10 week block starts from £62.99.
