Cloag Farm Cottages

Cloag Farm Cottages are three comfortable family-run self-catering properties with stunning views over Strathearn, which offer the chance to enjoy the peace and quiet of the spectacular Perthshire countryside.

Each sleeps up to 4 and the cottages are bookable online.   We are open all year with bookings any day to any day – minimum stay 3 nights.   VisitScotland inspects us every year and we have a 3 star award as well as a silver award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

Located between Perth and Crieff, Cloag Farm looks out over Methven village and is an ideal base for exploring Perthshire. The cottages are a real home from home, well equipped and with modern furnishings. Free Wi-Fi is provided, and the village with its amenities is within walking distance.

Perthshire is full of things to see and do and has a rich legacy of castles, churches, battlefields and historic sites. Craft industries abound, making everything from whisky, to glass paperweights, which can all be visited and sampled. It is also a wonderful place for hill walking, whether you are a beginner or a real stalwart. Golfers will appreciate the many golf courses within Perthshire itself with their modest green fees. There is an exciting range of outdoor active things to do, like white-water rafting, quad biking or even bungee jumping for the bravest.

Looking further afield, day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews, Loch Ness and Glencoe are popular with all our visitors, many of whom return to visit us again.

We look forward to welcoming you to Cloag Farm.

Dive In!

Swimming has a host of fantastic health benefits and is a great way to lose weight and reduce the risk of heart disease, type-2 diabetes and more. And with pools located throughout Perthshire, there's never been a better time to dive in!

Circus Tots

A few weeks ago I came across the brand new ‘Circus Tots’ class, held on Friday mornings near Inveralmond. Freya knows no bounds at the moment when it comes to climbing, swinging and generally flinging herself off things, so I knew she’d love it.

Cannae Beat a Ceilidh

Live Active Leisure has launched a new ceilidh fitness class at Bell's Sports Centre. The six-week block gets underway on 1st September and is guaranteed to be great fun as well as good exercise.

Call for Young Performers

The team behind Perth Theatre's homecoming panto is on the lookout for talented young performers aged between 9 and 13 to star in the 2017 production of Aladdin.

Sing and Sign

Classes that help babies use gestures to communicate, especially helpful in reducing that oh-so-familiar build-up of frustration from not being understood by mum and dad!

Benefits of Weight Training

Many people go to the gym but neglect to do weight training sessions and focus just on cardio. There are multiple health benefits when you train with weights in the gym, including lowering your risk of diseases, improving your mental health and preventing back pain.

Tri and Tri Again

Robert Harrison may be 45-years-old, but the Blairgowrie resident continues to compete in triathlons to a very high standard. The school teacher is one of Perthshire's elite sportspeople and part of the Live Active Talented Athlete scheme.

Glendoick Garden Centre

A one-stop Christmas Wonderland where you can park up, pop in and find the perfect gift for the whole family.

Christmas at 63 Tay Street
