For the past 10 years, Roberto Cassani, born in Milan, adopted by Scotland and resident of Perth, has been trying to convince people that good music and humour can live happily in the same songs.
It is an ongoing struggle, but one that is helping Roberto to be recognised a truly original creative force. He also plays a mean double bass, which makes everything much, much cooler. The rest of the music is provided by genius guitarist Owen Nicholson, one of the most recognisable sidemen on the Scottish scene. Together, Roberto and Owen are a formidably mischievous duo. If you like to smile, hear great players and generally feel happy, this gig is for you.
