Summer Race Day

Bring your memorabilia to be signed by some of the most famous names in UK and Irish racing. In the past few years, jockeys such as Richard Johnson and Paddy Brennan have been spotted on parade, as well as 2018 Cheltenham Festival top trainer Gordon Elliott.

A brand new steeplechase will be introduced to this fixture this year, and a tasty £15,000 of prize money is up for grabs for the winner. The race is sponsored by Perth Racecourse’s official brewing partner, Heineken, and it’s the feature race in a £63,000 card.

It’s a great opportunity to see some top class racing and previous winners at this fixture have gone on to make their mark in other races throughout the UK. One winner from this race day last year – Theflyingportrait – has gone on to win four more races since!

Dress for the occasion and with the warm summer weather why not treat yourself to a midweek Pimm’s, try one of the local craft beers or ales available in The Barn, or head to the Gin & Fizz Bar. There will also be Mackie’s Ice Cream huts open throughout the Grandstand area so you’ll have plenty of chances to keep cool in the heat of the action.
