Around the World in 80 Days with Mark Beaumont

Inspired by the adventures of Phileas Fogg, Mark Beaumont made this 80 Days dream a reality by pedaling around the planet at the pace of 240 miles every day, for 18,000 miles. Smashing the previous circumnavigation World Record by a third, this feat of endurance was the latest in a career that has taken Mark to well over 100 countries, into the Arctic, the high mountains and around the Commonwealth, also surviving capsizing in the mid-Atlantic.

TV documentaries and book writing have always been a passion for Mark, but his live events are the best way of seeing the films and photography and to hearing from the man himself. Whilst motivated by endurance and teamwork, Mark also shares rich experiences of the cultures, landscapes and people who have shaped his journeys.
