Get ready for Ladies Day by heading to Perth Racecourse’s Hoteliers Race Evening!

The ideal way to get in the swing of things before the next day’s big party, there are seven great races are on the card including the feature Handicap Hurdle race!

Some of the fantastic local accommodation providers are in the running this race evening: The Grampian Hotel, Murrayshall House Hotel, The Holiday Inn Express, The Dunkeld House Hotel, The Lodge at Perth Racecourse and The Salutation Hotel.

The dress code is smart casual and the focus is more on the quality of racing than the formal dress – save that for the next day and you could win yourself some big prizes as the Grand Lady or Best Dressed Male!

So, get yourself in the mood for Ladies Day and come along for an action-packed night of racing at the Perth Racecourse Race Evening!

FEATURED RACING HIGHLIGHTS

The most valuable race on the first evening card of the year is the three-mile handicap hurdle - won last year by a 33/1 outsider (45/1 on the Tote!) - but a lot of local interest is created by the Hunters' Chase and plenty of fun is enjoyed by the competing amateurs and their supporters.

It can be quite sociable down in town afterwards too as the racing fraternity gather together to discuss the next day's runners and riders.

The antepost favourite for The Ballymore Novice Hurdle at the 2019 Cheltenham Festival, Champ owned by JP McManus and trained by Nicky Henderson, made a very strong impression with a facile victory in the 2-mile four-furlong maiden hurdle on this card last year.

Why not go over two days; enjoy the fantastic May Evening and come back tomorrow for for Ladies Day!
