Inside the award-winning artisan coffee shop 'Heaven Scent' find the SMEG fridge door and head up the enchanting black and white stairs to reach Heavens Above, a beautifully atmospheric dining experience where you can enjoy gorgeous afternoon teas. The friendly staff, funky decor and quirky displays all add to the overall experience, but the tea itself remains the star of the show.

Adults can tuck into a sumptuous traditional afternoon tea (£12.50 per person based on two sharing) while kids will love the specially designed Willy Wonka version (£7.50 per child). Think Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets Alice in Wonderland and you get the idea!

Uniquely, Heaven Scent lets you design your own afternoon tea so you can decide which sandwiches, tray bake and gâteau you prefer, choosing from their extensive menu. Add these to the mouth-watering French macaron and scone with jam and clotted cream and you're in for a veritable culinary treat!

Located in the pretty village of Milnathort, Heaven Scent is very easily accessible as it's located just off the M90 and A91.

The best of local produce

As a VisitScotland "Taste Our Best" accredited caterer, Heaven Scent is committed to using locally sourced, seasonal produce wherever possible and takes full advantage of Perthshire's abundant larder. So expect to see Perthshire jams, cakes home baked by local ladies, and plenty of the county's delicious fruit and vegetables. The brand as a whole also prefers to work with small, local, independent suppliers, supporting their ethos of increasing sustainability and reducing food miles.

Heavens Above is open for afternoon teas every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5pm. Or if you are in during the week, you can enjoy them downstairs in Heaven Scent artisan coffee shop or outside in the sunny Secret Garden.

Private Celebrations

Afternoon teas are also perfect for celebrations and get togethers such as hen do’s, baby showers, birthdays and children’s parties which you can enjoy in your very own charming, private room. Larger parties can even tuck into a sharing afternoon tea experience. Heavens Above is available for private parties every day from 2pm until 5pm.

Heaven Scent is committed to catering for everyone, regardless of dietary requirements, and almost 100% of their cake range is now gluten-free. They’re also proud and delighted to offer a no-compromise gluten-free afternoon tea, and can cater for many other dietary requirements.
