This truly magical story, follows the life journey of Little Eagle from a small boy to adult through adversity, illness and later success as a storyteller.

In his youth, he rescues a ‘Loon’, a bird of great wisdom, who later helps him on his own journey through life.

The Call of the Loon Bird is a story of wisdom over intolerance and explores the stories and culture of the Native Americans.

This show uses a mix of rod and shadow puppetry and can be enjoyed on many different levels of understanding, as Clydebuilt Puppets combine storytelling, drama, puppetry and live music in a magical experience for children aged 5 – 12 years (and adults too).

Running time 50 minutes.

Firmly established as one of Scotland’s leading touring puppet companies, Clydebuilt has been touring the length and breadth of the UK since 1987 and has also taken shows to China and Dubai. The company is very experienced in rural touring, working in a wide variety of venues and enjoys contact with the audience after the show.
