Would you like to learn the craft of sewing and see how all of the wonderful Theatre costumes are produced?

An Introduction to Basic Sewing Skills with Perth theatre's resident costume maker Liz McCafferty aims to teach you the skills to create your own costumes.

This short course led by Perth Theatre’s resident costume maker Liz McCafferty is designed to provide you with an introduction to sewing skills using a variety of domestic and industrial machinery. The course takes place in Perth Theatre’s very own wardrobe department where you will spend the week honing a range of sewing techniques which you will then use to produce a skirt or a pair of trousers.
