We cannot wait for Perth festival of the Arts! For 10 days in May Perth Festival of the Arts becomes the highlight in Scotland’s cultural calendar and brings some of the finest international and national performers to Perth.  With performances in Perth Theatre, Perth Concert Hall and other venues across the city, the annual Festival features the best in classical music, opera, theatre, rock, folk, jazz, comedy, dance and contemporary visual art.

This year’s line-up is bigger and better than ever before with a varied list of performers and artists bringing their sell out shows to Perth with fantastic performances suitable for all ages and audience.

Immerse yourself with a weekend of culture from family friendly free to attend kids workshops, big name musical performances from the likes of Be Charlotte and stand out operatic productions from English Touring Opera.

ArTAY : Thursday 16th of May

A Festival favourite! The large outdoor arTay marquee outside Perth Concert Hall on the Horsecross Plaza has become one of the most highly anticipated and popular events during the Festival. Displaying over 300 works of art, the tent will exhibit a wide range of work by many well-known Scottish artists

English Touring Opera – Macbeth : Thursday 16th of May

Follow Verdi's Macbeth in a blood-soaked journey to the throne and watch a guilt-ridden Lady Macbeth descend into the depths of despair in English Touring Opera’s new production. Starring Grant Doyle (Macbeth) and Madeleine Pierard (Lady Macbeth) in Verdi’s interpretation of Shakespeare’s iconic play.

Jools Holland and His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra: Friday 17th of May

Pianist, bandleader, singer, composer, television presenter and multiplatinum recording artist. It wouldn't be Perth Festival of the Arts without Jools Holland on the bill!
